Synopsis

The weight of the case settled heavily as Hooker, McGuire, and Lieutenant Paul McGuire concluded their discussion. A report of a sexual assault had just come in, and the victim was revealed to be McGuire’s own daughter. The girl insisted she knew her assailant, that she could identify him. Yet, the man, a lawyer, skillfully exploited legal ambiguities, seemingly escaping accountability.
