Synopsis

At the secluded boarding school for girls, Miss Branding, the science teacher, seeks to prove a radical notion: that human potential holds a power surpassing even the atom's. Employing hypnosis and a peculiar amulet, she selects Nancy Perkins, a new student burdened by inner turmoil, as the subject of her experiments. The results are a chilling cascade of murders that coincide with the full moon.
