Synopsis

Wilfred Glendon, the botanist, journeyed to Tibet in pursuit of the elusive Mariphasa flower. Upon his return to London, however, he found a city shadowed by a series of brutal murders – crimes that seemed to defy explanation, attributable only to the work of creatures steeped in a savage hunger.
