Synopsis

Within the gleaming confines of a 23rd-century domed city, life offered an abundance of sensory delights. Yet, a strict decree governed existence: no citizen was permitted to surpass the age of thirty. On their thirtieth birthday, individuals could petition for a renewal ceremony, a civic ritual promising a continuation of life. Alternatively, escape constituted the sole other possibility.
