Synopsis

A hush fell upon the small English village, a sudden, inexplicable stillness as its inhabitants lost consciousness. When they stirred, blinking against the returning light, a startling transformation had occurred. Every woman of childbearing years found herself with child. The children born of this strange event shared an uncanny resemblance: the same pale blond hair, the same startlingly blue eyes, and a palpable, almost mystical connection to one another.
