Synopsis

This season, Survivorman is showcasing survival techniques by sea kayak within Taroka Arm—a bay aptly named "black bear" for a compelling reason. At this time of year, the salmon runs are at their peak, representing one of the black bear's most favored meals. The black bears and grizzlies inhabiting this region are among the largest globally, and they feast on the abundant silver salmon during this period.
