Synopsis

The swamplands of Georgia’s Altamaha River Basin embody every expectation of a primordial bog: damp and foreboding, teeming with unseen life and, inevitably, alligators. It is into this environment that Les Stroud will plunge, enduring seven days of stifling heat and bone-chilling nights.
