Synopsis

After a long silence, Sam and Dean reach their father, only to be met with a directive: cease their search for him. Instead, he assigns them a new case. Resentment simmering beneath their frustration, Sam resolves to find their father alone, while Dean remains behind, bound by obedience. He investigates a quiet town in Indiana plagued by the annual disappearance of couples, discovering a horrifying truth: the local farmers offer them as sacrifices to a Pagan God who manifests as a scarecrow.
