Synopsis

During a time of hardship for farmers, a businessman was attempting to acquire every farm within the Smallville region. Mr. Kent grew concerned by this aggressive pursuit and sought to discover its underlying reason. It soon became clear that Kenderson, the businessman, harbored a secret; in an effort to silence Mr. Kent, he resorted to violence, though his attempt proved unsuccessful.
