Synopsis

Like his grandfather Sallah, Akiki dreams of becoming an archaeologist. He yearns to assist Sallah in acquiring the one artifact that has remained elusive for him: the Great Golden Cat. At the dig site, Jett’s actions initiate a chain of events when he activates a hidden button, opening access to a previously unexplored chamber. His surprise deepens when the scarab button reveals an ancient box. Employing the key Akiki had discovered earlier, he unlocks it, revealing the fabled Great Golden Cat.
