Synopsis

A tremor of apprehension ran through her as she approached the enclosure. The petting zoo, usually a source of delight, now felt charged with an unfamiliar anxiety. The creatures within, so often viewed with innocent affection, seemed suddenly…different. A nervous flutter danced in her chest, a premonition of the unknown lurking behind those gentle eyes and soft fur.
