Synopsis

Despite Stromberg's successful intervention in Ernie's suicide attempt, there is no sign of improvement in Ernie's condition. Stromberg, naturally hoping to impress Jennifer, then offers to look after Ernie in Finsdorf. And it appears to be working; Ernie immediately connects well with Magdalena and, most notably, with Achim, who even invites him to the volunteer fire department's regular meeting. Meanwhile, Jennifer seems inclined to give Stromberg another chance.
