This series has a lot going for it. The musical score is fantastic, the visuals are stunning, and the performances are truly excellent. It’s hard to find fault with any of the actors; both young Kirsten and adult Kirsten, Miranda, and Tyler were all very engaging to watch. The deliberate pace might strike some as leisurely, but it allows for moments of reflection on the characters' development and circumstances, a chance to notice the artistry in the camera work, and an opportunity to enjoy the music. The narrative is both entertaining and intricate. Recurring themes connect the various storylines, the graphic novel within the show’s world, and Shakespearean works. It succeeds in presenting its own unique story and concepts while also offering room for multiple understandings. If you generally like theatrical productions and value depth of meaning, I suspect you'll find this series worthwhile.
