Synopsis

Virgil resisted the police officer’s request to search his backpack, unwilling to risk her discovering his Static suit. The situation proved unexpectedly complicated; the officer turned out to be his father's new girlfriend, and she was actually searching for a briefcase pilfered by two young men who were also producing meta-gas.
