I saw this show mentioned alongside THE WIRE, which got me interested since THE WIRE is easily one of the greatest television series ever made. However, while THE WIRE features some truly captivating characters—many inspired by actual individuals—this series presents a cast that feels remarkably uninspired. Normally, I don’t have issues with the actors involved (I wasn't familiar with the female lead), but in this case, they come across as lifeless and lacking any real feeling. After watching four episodes, I decided to stop; there are too many other shows on my list vying for my time, so sticking around for something that struggles to keep me engaged just isn’t worth it. I think I'll try 'POWER' instead... or perhaps begin season 2 of 'EMPIRE', which is admittedly a bit cheesy but at least provides some enjoyment.
