As the Senate prepared to debate a bill stripping away all governmental oversight of the Banking Clan in the name of war funding, Padmé and Ahsoka journeyed secretly to the capital of the Confederacy of Independent Systems. Amidala sought to broker a peace accord with the Separatists, while Ahsoka witnessed, for the first time, the lives of those within the Confederacy.
