Fans of 'Rogue One' will probably find something to appreciate in this story that takes place five years prior. There are recognizable characters, settings, and beings, alongside some new additions. I found the sequences showing Cassian’s early life particularly engaging; they offer insight into his development and how he arrived at who he is. The show has a raw, believable feel, complemented by excellent visuals. Some viewers may find the pacing deliberate, but it's worth watching the initial three installments one after another—they function almost like an extended introduction to the whole series.
