Synopsis

Following months of re-establishing contact with worlds long estranged from the Federation, Captain Michael Burnham and the crew of the U.S.S. Discovery are dispatched to aid a distressed space station. What appears at first to be a commonplace undertaking soon unveils a terrifyingly novel danger.
