Synopsis

Dr. Craig, ever the pessimist, attempts to negotiate with the Soviets for the release of Masha’s husband. Meanwhile, Rosenthal confronts McPhail regarding her substance abuse. Elsewhere, Dr. Westphall endeavors to assist a once-admired poet battling alcoholism. Ehrlich finds common ground with Papandrao’s new companion, while McPhail delivers her characteristic sharp rebukes to Rosenthal.
