Synopsis

The threads of Fielding’s existence in Berlin are fraying. He resolves to abandon caution, deliberately seeking a confrontation with the Russians, hoping to incite their retaliation. Simultaneously, he finds himself vulnerable to blackmail, the subject of demands stemming from his relationship with Severine.
