Synopsis

The weight of responsibility pressed down on them as they prepared for the Extreme Emergency Response Initiative Exercise (EERIE). Simulating a nuclear, chemical, or biological attack in central London, the exercise was designed to push their capabilities to the breaking point. But when the power grid failed and a wave of illness swept through the ranks, doubt gave way to chilling certainty: this was no longer a simulation.
