Synopsis

The Mayor’s spirited daughter, Meg—with whom his relationship is often uneasy—stirred up considerable attention when she crashed a rally of hansom-carriage drivers in Central Park, making a bold statement for animal rights and, it must be said, for herself. Meanwhile, the group attempted to bring a lonely Paul back together with his former girlfriend, Claudia, but he found himself captivated by a new correspondence with a pen pal.
