Synopsis

Carter and Nikki devise a staged wedding as a protest against the mayor’s position on same-sex unions. Simultaneously, Paul finds himself remarkably changed; the eye patch he wears following a slight injury seems to have unlocked a newfound confidence and undeniable charm. And Ashley, feeling unfulfilled, contemplates abandoning her current television role to return to the newspaper.
