Synopsis

Driven by a fractured mind, a radiation specialist seized control of Manhattan's nascent nuclear power plant, the city’s sole source of atomic energy. Employing a peculiar ray of his own devising, he initiated a process that gradually, impossibly, lifted the entire metropolis into the heavens.
