Synopsis

The argument between Marsha and Amber flared until, with a suddenness that left Marsha staring at an empty space, her daughter slammed the door behind her. Elsewhere, Daisy remained unemployed, and Tim had lost his job after an overzealous reaction to *The Phantom Menace*. They went together to the unemployment office, but when Daisy’s claim was denied, their situation appeared bleak. It worsened further upon returning home to discover Mike had moved into the spare room upstairs.
