Though his fortress lay in ruins, Dr. Eggman’s anxieties remained firmly in place. The looming election cast a long shadow, and the doctor sought a way to bolster his image. He turned his attention to Sonic, hoping to leverage the blue hedgehog's popularity for political gain.
