Synopsis

Kara begins to establish herself in Smallville by securing employment at the Talon and deciding to compete in the Miss Sweet Corn Pageant, a decision she makes despite Clark’s reservations. Her participation attracts the attention of Lex Luthor, and soon after, three of the pageant contestants discover Kara possesses extraordinary abilities. They resolve to exploit her powers in an attempt to pilfer a valuable time capsule.
