Synopsis

The senatorial contest between Jonathan and Lex intensified when Jonathan received an anonymous threat, a demand for him to withdraw from the race. After discovering Jonathan severely injured, Clark resolved to track down those responsible. Lois became entangled in the escalating conflict when she was captured and compelled to assassinate Jonathan during a public address.
