Synopsis

Following a near assault on Lana, Clark intervened, inadvertently injuring the assailant. The ensuing lawsuit, threatening to bankrupt the Kents and cost them their farm, spurred Clark to desperately seek a resolution. Simultaneously, Helen’s former boyfriend arrived in Smallville, determined to rekindle their relationship. His advances rejected, he lashed out, stabbing her. Faced with this violence, Lex Luthor resolved to deliver his own brand of justice.
