Synopsis

Sisi sought to bridge the distance between herself and Franz, but he remained aloof, refusing conversation and dispatching her back to Hungary. Her task there was to assist Count Andrássy in negotiating a new constitution with the Hungarians, unaware that this assignment might effectively be a farewell.
