Synopsis

Sisi is with child. The young Emperor and Empress know their time for quiet joy is fleeting. Troubles in Hungary escalate, and unrest simmers across the continent. Countess Esterhazy believes Sisi might sway the Emperor to parley with the Hungarian nobles. She orchestrates a clandestine meeting between Sisi and Count Andrassy. But before she can speak with Franz, an attempt is made on his life during the christening of their daughter, Sophie.
