Synopsis

A manuscript, missing for forty years, has surfaced, and A.J. is thrilled at the prospect of a final story from his beloved detective novelist. The search takes him to Los Angeles, a city that strikes him as profoundly unfamiliar, while Rick, who never desired this assignment in the first place, remains reluctant.
