Synopsis

He envisioned himself as a runt, the last to emerge from the jostling throng, a tiny piglet adrift in a brutal competition for existence. He knew, intellectually, the inevitable fate awaiting the creature – a transformation into sustenance. Yet, despite this grim understanding, he found himself bestowing upon the piglet a name.
