It's rare to find something so genuinely captivating these days, especially after growing tired of the usual Marvel and DC offerings, along with predictable Hollywood trends and preachy moralizing in movies and television. This series felt like a welcome departure from all of that, presenting a carefully constructed narrative, remarkable performances, well-crafted conversations, gorgeous visuals, good rhythm, and skillful editing and direction; it surpassed what I thought possible. The women in the story are portrayed as powerful and courageous. The fight scene featuring Mariko Sama in episode nine still sends chills down my spine—it’s among the most inspiring moments I've ever seen. Fuji Sama’s emotional fortitude is equally impressive, demonstrating real determination. This feels like a proper depiction of strong, self-sufficient women. Ultimately, this series is exceptional and restores faith that inventive storytelling in entertainment continues to exist.
