Synopsis

Kaori and Akira discover their mother teetering on the brink of death. Akira, resolute, journeys to the temple to procure talismans for protection against the Shiki, while Kaori prepares the wooden stakes. Simultaneously, Tooru is invited to tea with Sunako, where he learns the truth of her origins as a Shiki.
