Synopsis

While enjoying a respite in the Lake District, Watson encounters the intriguing Lady Frances Carfax, a woman troubled by the spectral presence of a horseman. Sherlock Holmes resolves to join his friend, but upon his arrival, Lady Frances has disappeared without a trace. Holmes takes up the investigation, his interest piqued by the peculiar ghost.
