Synopsis

A series of assaults targeting effigies of Napoleon Bonaparte had captured Sherlock Holmes’ attention. The latest of these incidents had culminated in a fatal act of violence, prompting Holmes to launch his own inquiry. Inspector Lestrade, convinced of an Italian connection, suggested directing Scotland Yard's efforts towards the Italian quarter of London. However, Holmes found himself drawn to the area of Chiswick.
