Synopsis

The theft of the Mona Lisa from the Louvre prompts a summons for Sherlock Holmes from the French government. He quickly perceives that he confronts a formidable intellect – the work of Professor Moriarty, his long-standing adversary. Holmes frustrates Moriarty’s scheme to auction Leonardo da Vinci’s masterpiece and pursues him across borders to Switzerland. There, amidst the thunder of the Reichenbach Falls, they engage in a final, deadly confrontation.
