Synopsis

Just before Christmas, John Horner, a plumber, finds himself arrested and accused of stealing the celebrated Blue Carbuncle from Lady Morcar. He vehemently denies the charge, yet his past record and the weight of evidence appear damning. It is Holmes's doorman who discovers the jewel concealed within a Christmas goose.
