Synopsis

A visitor, Miss Helen Stoner, sought out Mr. Holmes, burdened by a sense of dread inspired by her stepfather, Dr. Grimesby Roylott. Her sister had perished in circumstances shrouded in mystery just days before her wedding, and now Helen was plagued by a peculiar whistle, the very same sound she'd heard on that fateful night. Holmes, sensing profound peril, devised a carefully intricate scheme to protect the vulnerable Miss Stoner from the looming threat.
