Synopsis

Just after leaving a party, a sixteen-year-old Black girl is struck and killed by a car. The victim was a student at a school populated largely by affluent white families, including the daughter of Stark. He fears the tragedy will ignite a racial conflict, but the subsequent investigation unveils a far more complex truth.
