Synopsis

A couple was found murdered in a Malibu beach house they had rented from a private investigator. This investigator possessed a trove of compromising information about many in Hollywood – including Stark. Currently under scrutiny by a grand jury, the PI found himself vulnerable to Stark's demands, who leveraged the investigation to extract information. Meanwhile, back in their own home, Julie devoted time to assisting a man she admired with his term paper, allowing her personal studies to slip.
