Synopsis

As Maryse Lightwood tasks Jace and Isabelle with an intelligence mission to the Seelie Court, Alec is burdened with the responsibility of safeguarding Clary, a duty that displeases them both. With his formidable mother back in the city and Clary’s penchant for defiance, Alec finds himself wrestling with the Clave’s strictures while striving to uphold his promise to Jace. Simultaneously, the New York City Werewolf pack initiates their pursuit of Clary and the Mortal Cup.
