Synopsis

The team pursued the High Warlock of Brooklyn, Magnus Bane. With the other warlocks in hiding from Valentine, they needed to draw Magnus into the open with an irresistible lure: a spectacular party and something of immense value. But as emotions flared, their encounter with Magnus threatened to yield consequences far beyond Clary's recovered memories. Elsewhere, Simon appeared deeply affected by his recent encounter with the Downworlders, a shadow of his former self.
