I don’t have any complaints about it. I thought the pacing was well-done; I’ve noticed some people describe it as a ‘slow-burn,’ and I can see where they’re coming from, although I don’t completely agree. If it is slow-paced, it doesn't feel like a negative—it manages that style of storytelling very effectively. Each episode had unexpected developments. The visuals were striking; the set design and camera work felt just as unsettling as the narrative itself, which helped to highlight the themes of being trapped, questioning existence, and figuring out who you are. Even though the plot is strange, I’m sure a lot of viewers will find ideas and situations they can connect with. I enjoy shows that make me consider things about life and people—this one did exactly that, but in an engaging and enjoyable way, not in a dry or tedious manner. The performances were excellent, and I found the characters to be very appealing; they reminded me of different personalities I've encountered in my own experiences. Each character was carefully developed, with their own hopes, desires, flaws, interests, reasons for doing what they do, and enough screen time to get to know them well. I couldn’t stop watching; it had me completely invested. It has been a long time since something captivated me so much that I constantly thought about the characters and what would happen to them. The conclusion of season 2 was ideal. I'd be content if the series stopped there, because I worry that many great shows damage their legacy by pushing the story too far, but I am also looking forward to seeing season 3 given how good the first two seasons were. I suggest this show to anyone who appreciates movies like 'The Truman Show' or 'Get Out,' anything that prompts you to think deeply about things while still being beautifully paced, skillfully edited, and full of plot twists. If you enjoy watching shows that explore different relationships among a group of likable characters, similar to what you see in 'Stranger Things' or even 'The Office' (& many other series), I would also recommend this one to you.
