Synopsis

A series of unsettling deaths have plagued players of PHANTOMa, a popular Wired game. Drawn into the mystery, Lain begins to investigate, a pursuit that stirs unease in those around her. Her father, along with classmates Mika and Alice, grow increasingly concerned by Lain’s deepening involvement with the virtual world.
