This is a remarkable series from the Wachowskis, provided you don’t have prejudiced views regarding LGBTQ+ people. The writing is generally very good; both the central figures and those in smaller roles are well-developed. The acting is superb across the board. Filming on location in various places globally really enhanced this series. Bug is a great companion. I was drawn to Bae Doona’s involvement, the Wachowskis' participation, and reports that the show features LGBT characters and supports the community. I am happy that I decided to watch it; there's a real sense of human connection here, which is lovely to witness. It’s disappointing that Netflix interfered with its natural progression. The final episode feels hurried because of this, but still provides a satisfactory conclusion. It was pleasant to see Naveen Andrews from *Lost* again. Capheus has a different actor in the second season. I was sorry Aml Ameen wasn't back for subsequent episodes, though Toby Onwumere did a good job taking over the part.
