I'm not enjoying the episodic nature of the mysteries! I found myself far more invested in the storyline involving the female lead’s mother, which unfolded as an ongoing plot thread, than in whatever case the male lead happened to be tackling each episode. Ideally, it would have been better if there was a single, overarching mystery or at least if the smaller cases were somehow linked to the central one. The relationship between the two main characters didn't work very well either; they seemed distant and lacked chemistry. Thankfully, they avoided adding any romantic elements into the story. The other characters felt like an afterthought—they were bland, unremarkable, and easily overlooked. A crucial aspect of horror is establishing a sense of dread, but this drama largely failed to do so, instead relying on superficial scares and genre tropes. This is definitely my least favorite series I’ve seen from Jang Na Ra.
