Synopsis

Maddie faced Mr. Martin, and he fled. Then, Janet, inhabiting Maddie’s body, returned to her family’s crumbling farmhouse, a homecoming that stirred a flood of recollections. Meanwhile, Simon wrestled with a painful conflict: the urge to aid Maddie warred with his desperate need to maintain his own sense of what was real.
