Synopsis

At Hope Zion Hospital, an unexpected responsibility falls to Alex: he must become the voice for a volatile young prisoner recently admitted. Simultaneously, Joel finds himself drawn to a refugee bearing disfiguring wounds, striving to persuade Dr. Dana Kinney to return and perform the necessary surgery. As Charlie prepares for a routine procedure in the morgue, a presence—one known to many of the hospital’s staff—materializes.
